SEAPORT VILLAGE

Seaport Village is a phenomenal location! As a diverse family it is difficult to find a place that meets everyone's needs. Seaport Village is separate from the rest and boasts unlimited amounts of fun. Personal favorites consists of the ship tours, followed with pizza and beer while enjoying the scenic view.

Seaport Village offers an entirely different experience, unique from the other recreational destinations in the area. Located close to the airport, it is almost impossible for you to miss this beautiful site! Battle ships, cruise ships, and historical sailing ships (such as the Star of India) will instantly grab your attention. For a fee of only $16 you can tour 5 sailing ships, one of which is the oldest in the world. In addition, you can go whale watching, which is a bit more pricey and ranges at around $50.

Past the boats, heading south you will walk past The Midway, which is a docked battleship. With an additional fee, you can tour the boat and even enjoy lunch on the ship's deck. Additionally, within a short walk across the street you will find a water park that is perfect for the kids to play at no additional cost. Within this water park your kids will love the many water structures that offer endless amounts of fun. This gives the parents an opportunity to sit back, relax, and watch their kids play while enjoying the beautiful view of the boats in the background. After leaving the water park, continue walking further south where you will find many little touristy shops and a merry-go-round. Towards the end of your visit I recommend finding a local restaurant where you can enjoy dinner while watching the sunset.
