OLD TROLLEY BARN NEIGHBORHOOD PARK

I absolutely love North Park! This location is great for all ages. When my husband and I have a sitter we enjoy venturing out for dinner and drinks. However, it’s the parks located in the area that are a family favorite. North Park Trolley Barn Park is a location that we regularly attend. This park is less crowded than the others which allows us the luxury of less traffic and less people. In addition, we love that fact that this park is pet friendly, our dog (Danger) loves to get out of the house and socialize with other dogs.

Tucked away in North Park is the Old Trolley Barn Neighborhood Park. This park is geared towards families and pet owners. There is a large play structure that is complete with swings, slides, monkey bars and lots of happy kids! There is a descent sized lot where pet owners can freely take their dogs off their leash to run around and socialize with other pets. There are water fountains for both people and dogs as well (WOOF). This park doesn’t have any food amenities. However, North Park is known for their great cuisine! It is best pick up some "park friendly food" prior to attending, especially if you plan to stay for awhile. My recommendation is El Zarape! This restaurant offers reasonably priced Mexican food that you can eat there or bring to-go and enjoy a picnic.
